Exhibit booths at the Milwaukee Domes Art Festival are awarded on the basis of blind jury selection. Art show applicants must fit one of the 14 categories of the art show (see below). Exhibitors will be chosen based on overall artistic excellence (skill, creativity, aesthetic sensibility). The show will be balanced across artistic categories, but there are no mandated quotas for any particular category.
Art Show Applicants will submit 5 (FIVE) high resolution images (1920 x 1920 suggested) to the Milwaukee Domes Art Festival; 4 (FOUR) images of individual artistic pieces and 1 (ONE) image of the applicant’s booth. If the applicant does not yet have a booth (mandatory for art festival exhibition - except for plein air painters) they may photograph a group display of art pieces representative of the work that would be present at their booth.
Costs: Application for exhibition at the Milwaukee Domes Art Festival costs $35 (Application Fees go towards providing a fair and qualified jury). Application fee is non-refundable and must be paid in order to be entered into the jury process for the 3rd Annual Milwaukee Domes Art Festival. A completed application form along with payment must be received by April 30, 2013.
Outdoor booth fees for accepted applicants will be $250 for three days, an incredible value for the exposure you will receive. A limited number of indoor booths will be available in 2012 for $450. Indoor booths are available on a first-come-first-served basis and are air conditioned.
Plein air painters who wish to enter the plein air competition without maintaining a booth, will not pay a booth fee. Plein air painters will pay the application fee of $35 only, unless they will have a booth as well. If you are applying as a plein air painter, please indicate in the "About Your Art" section below whether you would like to have a booth.
Artists who are invited to exhibit (invitations will be sent by May 12) must return their signed contract and booth fee by May 31. Failure to return your signed contract and booth payment by May 31 will result in having your spot at the Art Festival offered to another applicant.

The Plein Air competition winner will receive $1500 (for best plein air painting done on Domes Festival grounds), and Plein Air competition honoroable mention will receive $500.
